This drop-in class is ideal for beginners to learn the basics of djembe accompaniments and some nice solo phrases, working as a group towards an overall understanding of the music.
8.05 - 9.30pm - INTERMEDIATE CLASS
This drop-in class is good for intermediate and improver players who wish to learn more complex accompaniments, bass lines, arranged breaks and solo material.

Therapies Offered
Sally Greenwell is a qualified music therapist working with special needs and mental health and can take on clients or referrals.
If you are interested in having Art, Music or Drama therapy, or have any questions about how the sessions work please get in touch
If you are a therapist interested in hiring the space to work from there are rooms available and can be hired by the day or hour.
Classes
If you are interest in holding a weekly or monthly class or workshop at Ocean Arts do please get in touch. So far we have had interest from dance classes, drumming workshops, hula- hooping classes and a choir so book quickly to get the perfect time slot for you. First come first served!
If there is anything in specific you would like to see happening why not let us know and we can see if we can sort it out. The centre can be used and adapted for anything community or arts based so if you think it might work, it probably will!
Music Lessons
If you are a music teacher looking for somewhere to teach from we have spaces that are suitable. Why not come and have a look round and see our facilities. There are even various instruments available for use!
